Terms of Use

Last updated: November 8, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Vimor(“we,” “our,” or “us”) and cover your use of the Vimor mobile app and website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Who can use Vimor

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vimor. If you live in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you must be at least 16, or the lower age set by your country, unless a parent or guardian has agreed on your behalf. You may not use the Service if we have previously removed your account for breaking these Terms.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password secure and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us through our contact form if you think someone else has accessed your account.

4. Community rules

Vimor lets you add friends, train together in Live Sessions, and share workouts to the Feed. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not use the Service to post, share, or send anything that:

  • Harasses, bullies, threatens, or intimidates anyone, or encourages others to do so
  • Is hateful or discriminatory, or attacks people based on who they are
  • Is sexually explicit, violent, or graphic
  • Promotes self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous behaviour
  • Is illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, or impersonates another person
  • Is spam, advertising, or a scam

You also must not try to break, overload, scrape, or get unauthorised access to the Service or other people’s data.

You can report content or users and block anyone from inside the app. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules, without notice where the situation calls for it.

5. Your content

You own the workouts, routines, photos, and other content you create in Vimor. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display that content only so we can run the Service for you, including showing it to the friends and session participants you choose to share it with. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies others have legitimately kept, such as a routine you shared with a friend.

You are responsible for what you share, and you confirm you have the right to share it.

6. Health and fitness

Vimor is not medical advice. The app helps you log and track your training. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and nothing in it replaces advice from a doctor or other qualified professional.

  • Talk to a doctor before starting a new training programme, especially if you have a health condition, an injury, or are pregnant.
  • Exercise involves a risk of injury. You train at your own risk and are responsible for using proper form, equipment, and supervision.
  • Figures such as calorie goals, estimated one-rep maxes, volume, and nutrition totals are estimates for guidance only and may not be accurate for you.

7. Apple Health and Health Connect

If you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, Vimor exchanges only the data you allow, as described in our Privacy Policy. Data that comes from other apps, such as the nutrition logged in your food app, is shown as those apps recorded it, and we cannot guarantee that it is complete or accurate. You can turn the connection off at any time.

8. The service

Vimor is currently free to use. We work to keep it running and improving, but we may change, add, or remove features, and the Service may sometimes be unavailable. We will try to give you notice of changes that significantly affect how you use it.

9. Our intellectual property

The Vimor name, logo, app, website, design, and the content we provide, such as the exercise library, belong to us or our licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to use them other than to use the Service as intended.

10. Ending your use of Vimor

You can stop using Vimor and delete your account at any time through our contact form. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we stop offering the Service. Where we can, we will tell you why. Sections 5, 6, 9, 11, and 14 continue to apply after your access ends.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, for loss of data, or for injury arising from exercise you choose to do. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. App store terms

If you downloaded Vimor from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store’s terms. For the iOS app, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies alongside these Terms. These Terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google, and we, not they, are responsible for the app and its support.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and can bring claims in your local courts.
